Tangle episode 17

The meeting was scheduled to take place 1 p.m under the bridge and the guys had came early. Malik hid into a nearby bush with a sniper's riffle while Jeffery made the trade. They knew the Captain might like to try something funny. Moments later the truck zoomed its way to the place and the Captain alighted from the driver's seat alone.
'Where are the photos?' Captain demanded.
Jeffery handed him a pair of photographs.
'I want the negatives also'
'You don't get the negative until I confirm that our goods is intact' Jeffery declined.

Reluctantly the captain took Jeff to the truck where he confirmed all their goods. Jeff then handed him the negatives of the photos.
The Captain turned back and started walking till he disappeared from sight.
Jeffery looked disappointedly at where Malik was. Malik came out and walked up to him.
'Why didn't you kill him as we have planned?' Jeff asked.
'I see no need to waste his life, we have enough leverage in case he try another shit' with this, they hop into the truck and drove off.
They threw up a celebration on their victory. Helen wasn't left out of it, she felt relaxed and welcome around them now that she had helped them. While they were rejoicing, Malik's phone rang.
'Hello Malik, am happy my goods finally reached their destination, I was beginning to feel nervous due to the late arrival' The voice said.
'We only had a little challenge and it has been solved' Malik explained.
'That’s nice, your payment will be made tomorrow' the voice announced.
'Thanks sir, we are thinking of employing a new face, a clever lady' Malik said.
'You have my approval but make sure you check her out so we don't employ a mole' he advised.
'Okay sir' the call ended.
'Let's toast to Helen joining the league of millionaires
They toasted as the three raised up their glass cup.
